This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how CODING WISE, operated by SKYUP MARKETING (sole proprietorship, Madhya Pradesh), collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information of users ("you", "your", or "student"). It is published in accordance with:

  • Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000
  • Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011
  • Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
  • Provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), where applicable

  • LMS activity (video watch rate, quiz submissions)

d. Placement & Resume Data

  • Uploaded resume
  • Mock interview video/audio

2. Children’s Privacy – Special Rules for Users Under 18

We comply with Rule 4 of the IT Rules, 2021 and data protection norms under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act for children:

  • If a user is under 18 years of age, we require verifiable parental or guardian consent before processing any of their data.
  • We do not knowingly allow children to register without such consent.
  • Parents may write to support@codingwise.in to inspect, delete, or restrict processing of their ward’s data.
  • Minors' data is protected using stricter access and encryption standards.
3. How We Use Your Data

Your personal and usage data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Course delivery (LMS access, progress tracking)
  • Conducting assessments and issuing certificates
  • Verifying eligibility for placement assistance
  • Connecting with hiring partners or mock interviewers
  • Internal quality control and academic auditing
  • Compliance with Indian tax and regulatory laws
  • Communication about services, changes, or support

We do not use your data for behavioral ads, cross-platform tracking, or third-party profiling.

4. Lawful Grounds for Processing (As per DPDP Act)

We collect and process data on the following lawful bases:

  • Consent: Provided at the time of enrollment via opt-in checkbox
  • Contractual necessity: Required to provide training or placement services

a. Storage Location

Your data is securely stored on cloud servers operated by our LMS and CRM providers who comply with Indian data localization rules where required.

b. Retention Period

We retain your data:

  • For the duration of the course + 2 years (for academic and placement verification)
  • Longer if required under tax or regulatory law
  • Or until you request deletion, unless legal restrictions apply

c. Security Practices

In compliance with Rule 8 of the IT SPDI Rules, we implement:

  • Role-based access control
  • Encryption of sensitive records
  • Audit logs for sensitive operations
  • Routine backups and intrusion prevention systems
7. Your Rights Under Indian Law
